About
The Michigan DataHub connects education systems so data moves faster, cleaner, and with purpose. We reduce friction between platforms, improve data quality, and help districts and partners spend less time managing data and more time using it.
Built on collaboration, the DataHub brings together districts, technology partners, and state agencies to create shared, secure solutions that scale statewide. When systems connect, data works. And when data works, better decisions follow.
Mission
To facilitate the movement of educational data to be accessible and actionable for the Michigan PK-12 Community.
Vision
We envision an ecosystem that easily connects educational systems, providing real-time data quickly and accurately to improve student success.
Advisory Committee
The Michigan DataHub Advisory Committee brings together voices from across the state, reflecting the diverse geography, use cases, and perspectives. The committee is made up of 10 to 15 members, with representation from regions across Michigan and core partners. This balanced structure promotes thoughtful discussion and consensus, ensuring key decisions remain aligned with the DataHub’s overall vision and goals.
DataHub Support Specialists (DHSS)
A statewide team of more than 50, DataHub Support Specialists (DHSS) are closest to the work. They partner directly with districts to implement solutions, remove barriers, and help teams succeed long term.
They are our ambassadors and champions, elevating district voices, turning needs into action, and driving continuous improvement across the DataHub. Their work fuels adoption, strengthens relationships, and powers our shared success statewide.
