API Connection Setup

  • Log in to the Michigan DataHub Production Cockpit.
  • Navigate to API Integrations.
  • Click Add Integration.
  • Complete the following selections:
    • System Type: Educational Application
    • Vendor: Savvas EasyBridge
    • System: Savvas EasyBridge – v1
    • Profile Type: Rostering
  • Check the box for Permit Access to OneRoster API.
    • This will display the OneRoster configuration options.
  • Select available scopes.
  •  Common scopes include:
    • RosterCore_ReadOnly
    • RosterDemographics_ReadOnly
    • Note: Work with your vendor to confirm the appropriate scopes for your implementation.
  • Select the appropriate School Year.
  • Check View Credentials in Management Portal.
    • This allows credentials to be shared securely with the vendor.
  • Click Submit to create the integration.

Vendor Coordination Required

After creating the integration, districts must work with their Savvas EasyBridge contact to:

  • Confirm and finalize selected OneRoster scopes
  • Obtain and exchange required connection details

Post-Setup Verification

After setup, work with the vendor to:

  • Confirm the connection is successful
  • Verify roster data is flowing as expected

Important Notes

The School Year must be updated annually to ensure data continues to flow.
